The Grand Junction Film Festival is proud to showcase local and non-regional filmmakers. Closing out the Downtown Art Festival weekend, GJFF will highlight a diverse range of student and professional filmmakers on Sunday, October 4. With educational panels and workshops offered during the weekend, GJFF is offering even more exciting opportunities for filmmakers and film enthusiasts to get involved.
This year’s Grand Junction Film Festival will be a virtual celebration of film and filmmakers. Submissions are free to support artists during the pandemic. We are accepting all genres, narrative and documentary. We are accepting films with run times up to 60 minutes. Filmmakers will be awarded a special opportunity to have their films hosted on the Grand Junction Creates Creative District website for 1 year by special committee consideration. However, to be considered, films must be suitable for all audiences. Films with mature themes will have the opportunity to play during the virtual festival, and are eligible for award consideration, but only films that are suitable for all audiences will be eligible to be on the Grand Junction Creates Creative District website for 1 year.
By submitting your film, you are confirming you own all rights, including music, to your film, and can have it exhibited in this fashion for this festival.
Date: Sunday, October 4
Time: Films will be available starting at 9:00am
