GJ CREATES Together
we are here to lend a hand & some paint.
As Grand Junction’s creative hub, our mission is to create a thriving arts economy. One things for certain, we could not do it alone.
Creating a destination arts district doesn’t happen over night. Here are the people who have helped us get here.
COLORADO CREATIVE INDUSTRIES Colorado Creative Industries (CCI) believes in the power of creativity to inspire human connections, create social change, and support economic vibrancy throughout Colorado. They focus on strengthening the vitality of visual, performing, and literary arts through promotion, resources, and funding opportunities. CCI manages the creative district program and is a valuable partner when it comes to advocacy, grants, and promotion.
COLORADO BUSINESS COMMITTEE FOR THE ARTS The Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) is a state-wide nonprofit advancing Colorado’s creative economy by connecting business and the arts. CBCA advocates for the economic value of the creative sector, convenes cultural and corporate leaders, offers professional development and legal assistance to artists, and honors outstanding business and art partnerships. Sign up for the Colorado Arts Action Network to elevate your voice of the arts!
GRAND JUNCTION COMMISSION ON ARTS AND CULTURE The Grand Junction Commission on Arts & Culture is dedicated to developing the quantity, quality, and affordability of arts and culture for the citizens of the Grand Valley. The commission provides grants, calls for art, and hosts art shows.
