Space to Create Temporary Reservation Request

Before the Terminal develop begins at the Space to Create site (230 S. 5th Street) a small portion of the space is available for reservations to the creative community (workshops, small special events). Reservations may only be requested on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Please limit your requests to one per month.

Below are the rules for reserving the space. Downtown Grand Junction staff will periodically review reservation requests.

Guests will have access to the main ticketing area and front courtyard space, and can set the room up as needed. Tables and chairs are provided, as well as access to the restroom facilities. All other parts of the building are off limits.

Space to Create Rules

  • No drugs or alcohol
  • No smoking or tobacco
  • No weapons
  • No loitering after hours
  • Building capacity is 50 people
  • Reservation hours 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Food and drink is okay (take your trash with you)
Guests are responsible for:
– taking out their garbage
– turning off all lights and locking door after the reservation is complete
– returning check out key to the lock box
This is a collaborative community space. Rules are in place for the safety of all guests, and convenience for future reservations. Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in suspension of future reservations.
